Baby Quilts Ready For SALE!

After a busy couple of weeks a soft and cuddly bunch of baby quilts have emerged!
They are made up with the gorgeous fabric I found at Patchwork On Central Park.
I seem to be drawn to Lecien fabric...there is quite a bit of it here.

Here is the first one...

This quilt is all boy!

The top central fabric is 100% Organic Cotton by birchfabrics, "Storyboek".
Borders are by Lecien, Atelier & Akiko.
Backing is so soft!..'nani IRO', Naomi Ito, POCHO knit.
Wadding is 100% Cotton.
Measures 25x28 inches.

The whole effect is irresistibly cuddly.
This quilt would make a great cot top, buggy quilt, travel quilt and even a wall hanging.

Price = US$65.00

I am happy to post anywhere in the world.

Payment through Paypal.

Please contact me through the comment form if you are interested in purchasing this quilt.

Hooray It's Spring

Sorry it has been ages since I posted here.

I have been busy over at my website
 salsysafranoquilts.com.

There are some fun videos that I have made, about a new Mystery Quilt; "That Square Quilt" designed by
 The Gourmet Quilter.

Lori at Stitches N' Giggles has been so kind in supplying me with some of her gorgeous new range "Amelia" by Me and My Sister.  If you like the look of the emerging quilt, you can pop over to Lori and order your fabric there.

As I have just finished the sewing on Month 2 of this Mystery Quilt, the pieces are reminding me of Licorice Allsorts.  Quite fitting as it is one of the Gourmet Quilter's downloadable patterns.

Not too late to join in!!

More photos to come.

Facecloths For Therapy Tables

One of the things I have been doing over many years now is making fun cotton facecloths for Chiropractic tables.

Clients really enjoy selecting their favourite color and theme of the moment to use for their adjustment/entrainment during their visit to the Chiropractor.

No more sticky paper towels on your face!  If you think this is a good idea, and your Chiropractor or therapist of any sort for that matter hasn’t made the move to more eco-friendly cotton facecloths…let alone comfy and fun….please share this post with them.

In fact my facecloths are now to be found in very distant parts of the world, and they are are part of the healing process for not only chiropractic clients but those of osteopaths, massage therapists and energy healers.

Some Practice members even buy their own facecloth, have it in their handbags, and bring it to their session…just like your own yoga mat for your yoga class!

Enjoy, Salsy.

Here are a few pics of the latest bunch.....

This latest bunch of cotton facecloths has found a new home in an Osteopathic Practice.

One of the most fun parts of the process is choosing the fabric.  I have enjoyed using some Jennifer Pudney designs here, along with some of those of Jane Sassaman.

Cute Tulips Inspired by Sarah Fiekle of The Last Piece Blogpost

I'm enjoying using some of my In The Beginning fabrics for my first tulips.
I made up my own templates...so you can too, and decide which you like best.
I'm also showing one of my little helpers which is a magnetised "Bear" which holds my pins.  So handy and easy to use.  I have two pin holders like this....the other is a "heart".

Last night I got even more inspired and constructed four blocks around the larger tulips.  Pictures to come.

"Anna's Alice Quilt"

I made a cute video with pictures of my latest quilt...a continuation of the  Alice in Wonderland theme.
Please go through to my website http://www.salsysafranoquilts.com if you would like to see it.
Meanwhile here are a few pics......

I am meanwhile warming up to finish the teacups project and have another Alice quilt taking shape in my mind.
